Catch-All Email Checker
Some domains accept every address — including the ones that do not exist. Find out whether a domain is catch-all before it quietly damages your sender reputation.

What is a catch-all email domain?
On a normal domain, the mail server knows exactly which mailboxes exist and rejects everything else. A catch-all (or accept-all) domain is configured to accept mail for any address — real, invented, misspelled, it makes no difference. That one configuration breaks the basic assumption behind email verification: the server says "yes" to everyone.
Why catch-alls are risky
A catch-all address can pass an SMTP check and still bounce later, belong to nobody, or be a spam trap. Sending a whole campaign segment of them is one of the fastest ways to hurt a sender reputation you spent months building.
Why you should not just delete them
Plenty of legitimate companies run catch-all domains — especially smaller businesses and agencies. Many of those addresses are real people's mailboxes. Deleting them all throws away genuine customers.
How TrueSendy detects catch-all domains
We probe the domain with a randomly generated address that cannot possibly exist. If the mail server rejects it, the domain answers honestly and your real address can be verified normally. If the server accepts the random address too, the domain is catch-all — and your result is labelled catch-all with its own score, so you can segment it instead of guessing.
- Random-address probe on every domain — catch-all status is measured, not assumed
- Catch-all results come back as their own segment in single, bulk and API verification
- Send to them separately, at lower volume, and watch engagement before trusting them
- Combined with disposable, role and SMTP checks in one pass — one credit per address
Simple, honest pricing
1 verification = 1 credit, credits never expire, and you are never charged for unknown results or for duplicate rows inside a bulk file.
Need a steady volume? Monthly plans run from $29/month for 25,000 credits. Or use the pricing calculator on the homepage to buy the exact number of credits you need.
Frequently asked questions
Can a catch-all address be verified as valid?
Not with certainty — that is the nature of catch-all. The server accepts everything, so no verifier can prove a specific mailbox exists. TrueSendy labels these addresses catch-all so you can decide how to treat them.
What should I do with catch-all addresses?
Segment them. Send to them separately from your valid list, start with your most engaged campaigns, and remove the ones that hard-bounce or never engage.
How does the catch-all test work?
We ask the domain's mail server about a random address that cannot exist. If it is accepted, the domain accepts all addresses — the definition of catch-all — and your real address is labelled accordingly.
Are catch-all checks charged extra?
No. Catch-all probing is part of the standard verification — one credit per address, and as always, unknown results are never charged.
